WHAT CAMERA SHOULD I START WITH?

Choose Your own Adventure

There aren’t really any bad choices in the camera industry these days. The general rule is to go with the system your friends and colleagues use.

I personally use Sony because of the company’s heavy slant of making cameras that have amazing video features as well as photos.

Why do I even have this section on My website?

Aren’t I a professional and want people to book me? I hear you on that, but as I think about it, a rising tide raises all ships. The more people we get into photography, the better the entire industry will be, and that makes all of us better.

Plus selfishly, I have a lot of people ask me this question and I want to have a place to point them with all they need to get started as quickly as possible without having to answer the same question repeatedly.

Now, with these suggestions I give, I am thinking of the person or company who wants to start taking “professional” photos and not the person who is just an enthusiast. Some of my choices cost will reflect that.

Now get back up there and make your choice!
